Adoption Training: "Say it Early, Say it Often: Talking to your Child about Adoption"

Rhode to Adoption trainings are typically only available for families currently in the adoption process with our agency. This month we're opening up the training to the public!

Rhode to Adoption board member Lynn Gabbard will be presenting the training, "Say it early, say it often: Talking to your child about adoption." In this training, Lynn will discuss the importance of talking to your child about their adoption from an early age.

Lynn is a retired social worker with over 40 years of adoption experience. She and her husband have adopted seven children. Lynn teaches at Quinnipiac University and is a member of the Connecticut Council on Adoption.
